You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Maritime Allowance and Outfitting Department of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will have knowledge of Navy Allowance process and the major databases accountable for extraction analysis and formulation of supply solutions.
You will have knowledge of the organization, regulations, policies, and procedures of the Navy Supply System and agencies relative to logistics support.
You will have knowledge of data access methods, limitations, and development of alternate approaches to support data development and collection.
You will identify and provide budget resource requirements for Allowance and Outfitting process initiatives and enhancements necessary to attain the desired process performance levels.
Requirements

Qualifications
For the GS-05 grade level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least three years of general experience that includes one year of experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-04) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience may demonstrate the following duties: 1). Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather related data, and recognize solutions; 2) Utilizing a variety of database and software systems to organize information; 3). Communicating effectively orally and in writing. 4). Assist to perform detailed studies using a variety of techniques such as mathematical functions.
For the GS-07 grade level:
Your resume must demonstrate at least of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-05) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector providing technical oversight and support concerning the efficiency, maintenance and effectiveness of the Maritime Allowance and Outfitting Programs and reporting process. Examples of specialized experience may demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing problems to identify significant factors, gather related data, and recognize solutions; 2) Using a variety of databases such as Statistical Analytical Software ( SAS) and Navy Enterprise Resource Planning ( NAVY ERP) to validate, coordinate, and schedule shipboard inventory; 3) Analyzing data and processes related to inventory management practices used to retrieve, repair, stock and issue supply materials; 4) Serving as the point of contact between directors and other division SMEs inquiring on supply data updates.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
GS 5:
Must have completed a full 4-year course of study in any field leading to a bachelor's degree, in an accredited college or university.
GS 7:
I have successfully completed one full year of graduate level education.
or
I have successfully completed a bachelor's degree with superior academic achievement.
