You will serve as a SUPERVISORY GENERAL SUPPLY SPECIALIST in the Operational Forces Support Directorate of NAVMEDREADLOGCMD D FT DETRICK MD.
Duties
You will serve as the Supervisor for the Assemblage Management Section under direction of the Director, Operational Forces Support, managing the development, coordination, and overall management of Authorized Medical and Dental Allowance Lists.
You will utilize various DoD and commercial information resource/ systems to complete maintenance and perform research of Authorized Medical and Dental Allowance Lists (AMAL) and (ADAL) content to manage the technical logistics data.
You will be responsible for the development of activity plans to identify actions, schedules, and responsibilities to ensure effective and efficient support is provided to activities.
You will conduct research, evaluation, and develop collaboration, to determine a plan of action for resolution of materiel availability issues that
require corrective action.
You will serve as the focal point for coordination of medical materiel support and resolution of problems encountered in fleet and operational medical environments.
You will serve as the lead Navy representative for external coordination/development and maintenance of DoD information systems (e.g., DMLIIS, WEBFLIS, DoD FedMall, etc.).
You will support performance capabilities and throughout the acquisition process to optimize support costs while providing the resources to support and sustain the system
You will identify supportability related performance, capability, design, and development criteria associated with systems design (both initial and modernization) of Navy ship outfitting programs.
You will monitor performance criteria and associated outcome metrics for fleet medical and dental system operational availability and readiness into affordable, total system/total life-cycle support performance capabilities.
You will oversee Navy system logistics support planning and execution extends business case analyses to cross-program, logistics infrastructure considerations.
You will be responsible for providing strategic as well as day-to-day supervision and plan and schedule work to be accomplished by subordinates, establish performance plans, prepare awards, and hears and resolves grievances and complaints.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience managing Class VIII (Medical and Dental Materiel) to provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and assemblage management support for medical and dental materiel, equipment, and pharmaceutical products and programs utilizing various DoD logistics databases such as Defense Medical Logistics Item Identification systems (DMLIIS), Web-base Federal Logistics Information System (WebFLIS), Naval Medical Readiness Command Enterprise Business Environment (NEBE), and other similar systems;
- Experience leading subordinates in analyzing logistics data to validate supply requirements, initiate assemblage change requests, and execute life cycle support for Class VIII materiel replacement and modernizatio;
- Experience overseeing budgetary/ procurement planning of logistics programs, equipment and materiel outfitting to maintain medical/ dental standards of care capabilities of operating forces and ship vessels;
