You will serve as a COMPUTER SCIENTIST in the MISSION OPERATIONS AND INTEGRATION DEPARTMENT, LOGISTICS AND MAINTENANCE INTEGRATION DIVISION of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will work with instruction designers, subject matter experts, and clients to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
You will manage a team of developers, providing guidance and support throughout the development lifecycle.
You will optimize applications for performance and scalability, considering hardware constraints and user experience.
You will maintain comprehensive technical documentation for development processes, APIs, and system architecture.
Requirements

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 661 proficiency level Intermediate the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing some or all of the following duties:
Delegating coordination of project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget;
Directing regular reviews and testing procedures to ensure code quality;
Defining the technical direction and architecture to implement immersive training solutions;
Applying updates on industry trends and emerging technologies to improve development processes and solutions; and
Overseeing prototype creations to validate concepts and demonstrate functionality.

Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess Basic Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.
