You will serve as a Computer Scientist in the NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER AIRCRAFT DIVISION LKE, SE & ALRE GROUP of NAVAIRWARCENADLKE.
Duties
You will be designated as the cyber security subject matter expert and is responsible for providing technical expertise and advice to assigned projects.
You will serve as the Tech Data Branch technical metrics authority for design and development issues and is responsible to ensure team’s metrics development policies and procedures are applied to the new projects.
You will be responsible for tracking projects using proper schedule, budget, and resource management.
You will serve as a lead programmer on the team and mentor/coach other junior developers on all related technological areas.

Qualifications
In addition to the Basic Requirements for this position, your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Work with S&T leads to propose new NISE/research projects (including other funding sources such as ONR) to support PMA251, PMA-260 (and all other supported program offices) short-term and long-term needs in relation to all ongoing and future Tech Data Branch's Digital Transformation initiatives. Manage all funded IT innovation proposal presentations, project tasking and milestone deliverables. This includes all application testing and feedback coordination. Serve as a lead programmer on the team and mentors/coaches other junior developers on all related technological areas, PTC Windchill, PTC Arbortext, SQL, Tableau, SQL Server Integration Services, and all other IT-related requirements/ endeavors. Maintain and establish existing and new data sources using various methods such as direct database to database, data pull from web sites, emails, and other methodologies (e.g. XML and graphic library development and maintenance). As a result, the responsible for all Tech Data Branch Digital Transformation requirements. Provide just-in-time training (e.g. PTC Arbortext, PTC Windchill, etc.) to all technology end users within the Tech Data Branch and externally, when required. Additionally, this includes user setup requirements that require specific configuration files (e.g. PTC Arbortext). Responsible for maintaining policy and configuration management as it relates to defining and implementing folder structures, document nomenclature, and user documentation. Author (using PTC Arbrotext) Technical Manuals, Maintenance Requirements Cards, and Pre-Op Cards in support of assigned ALRE/SE IPT product requirements. Submit PCARD acquisition requests, which requires the need to develop and provide supplemental documentation when interfacing with the Procurement Department.

Education
Applicants must meet the following positive education qualifications requirements of the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualifications Standards Manual: Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree in computer science or bachelor's degree with 30 semester hours in a combination of mathematics, statistics, and computer science. At least 15 of the 30 semester hours must have included any combination of statistics and mathematics that included differential and integral calculus. All academic degrees and course work must be from accredited or pre-accredited institutions.
