Duties
Plan, manage and coordinate support for all MCCS events at various locations within the region, including location, vendor, and partnership details of given events. Identify, negotiate, and administer significant strategic partnerships, alliances, and relationships that support the organization¿s goals and objectives. Work closely with operating divisions, coordinating event plans, roles and responsibilities while serving as the lead on all such projects. Establish and manage budgets and track gross sales for events, provide event recaps, quarterly analysis and review. Communicates regularly with all team members and is accountable to build working relationships with internal and external customers alike, to include vendors, Base operations, and MCCS Divisions. Attend meetings and special events as required. Identify business opportunities at various locations within the region and the civilian sector to promote MCCS venues and services for events. Evaluate event operations and propose recommendations addressing operational efficiencies. Establish and secure contract/service agreements with event vendors for equipment, logistics, staffing, transportation, supplies, catering and venue. Coordinate and supervise each event within the guidelines established. Operate in support of guidelines of company communication standard. Work closely with Finance and Procurement to ensure that there is accurate and up to date financial information for each event. Manage special event warehouse staff and equipment within the special events warehouse and volunteer staff.

Qualifications
A minimum of four (4) years¿ experience in event planning and management, managing budgets, marketing imperatives, resource management and vendor relationships or related experience that demonstrates that the applicant has acquired the knowledge, skills and abilities equivalent to that gained in the above. Must be willing and able to work the required hours to accomplish the mission. Experience in delivering project on time and on budget, without close supervision, through service level agreements. Demonstrated commitment to interdependent teamwork. Travel is required, including regular or occasional trips to various locations within the region.
