You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in the SEA 21 PMS 505 of NAVSEA HQ FIELD SUPPORT.

Duties

You will Support the Business Financial Manager in matters pertaining to planning, development, oversight, execution, and reporting of assigned budgets and support of all financial products. You will monitor and analyze budget conformance to extent policies and regulations. You will assist in planning and development in conformance with polices. You will execute and report the status of associated budgets and funding profiles. You will provide approved fiscal guidance to program task leaders on all aspects of financial management and initiatives related to Bridge Integration.

• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• This is a Financial Management Level 2 certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-02 (GS-11) in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing financial management analysis functions (e.g. budget planning, funding execution, or monitoring obligations and expenditures) to ensure proper allocation of funds for the organization.
