You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES SPECIALIST (EMPLOYEE RELATIONS) in the Human Resources Office of NAVAL SPECIAL WARFARE COMMAND.
Duties
You will conduct civilian administrative investigations (management inquiries) on a full range of civilian misconduct issues.
You will conduct extensive research of third-party case law decisions, gather background information to frame investigations, and ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and procedural requirements.
You will ensure investigations are comprehensive, objective, and comply with applicable law, regulation, and policy.
You will manage a complaints program, conducting preliminary analysis of complaints to determine appropriate course of action and to determine whether a communication constitutes a complaint that requires investigation.
You will serve as the primary point of contact and subject matter expert on investigations involving civilian personnel for the Force.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final SECRET security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: conducting administrative investigations, performing comprehensive complaint analysis and legal research; drafting complex investigative reports for senior leaders; and providing technical guidance and advice on the most appropriate method, strategy, procedure, and course of action to address allegations of wrongdoing and/or violations of laws, regulations, or standards.
