About the Position:
Incumbent performs a wide variety of budget functions involving the analysis, justification, and execution of Agency and Command-wide budgets for Operating Agency 22 (OA-22).
Duties
Serve as expert planner, analyst, and advisor to agency management on program cost analysis, annual/multi-year and long-range fiscal/program planning, and/or commercial issues for key programs
Perform a variety of readiness and operations support functions for organization.
Develop budget/program processes, procedures and guidance for executing financial management plans and programs.
Perform a wide variety of budget functions involving the analysis, justification, and execution of Agency and Command-wide budgets for Operating Agency 22 (OA-22).
Requirements
- One year trial/probationary period may be required.

Specialized Experience: One year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level in the Federal service which includes 1) Formulate and execute an organization's budget in accordance with fiscal law, regulations, policies and/or procedures; 2) Identify and analyze financial data such as budget requests, spending trends, obligations, expenditures, and reimbursements; 3) Provide technical financial advice and recommendations in accordance with budget policies and regulations; 4) Conduct research and financial analysis of complex accounting anomalies.
This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
