You will serve as a Financial Management Analyst in NAVSUP HQ, SUP112 of CNSSC MECHANICSBURG PA NWCF MHA.
Duties
You will manage, allocate and monitor financial resources in compliance with laws, regulations, and policies, with sufficient transparency and appropriate internal controls.
You will to ensure resources are efficiently applied to meet organizational goals and objectives, while considering the Federal Government's fiduciary duty to the Nation.
You will apply fiscal law, policies, regulations, principles, standards, and procedures to financial management activities.
You will utilize integrated federal financial management systems and sub-systems to extract data, identify and resolve system problems, and maintain data integrity.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a Financial Management Level II certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (GS-11) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: I have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-11 grade level in the Federal Service or equivalent demonstrating knowledge and skill applying principles, concepts and practices to perform assignments concerning financial management and budget. Specific work experience must demonstrate duties such as the following: 1) Reviewing financial documents and systems to obtain key supporting documents; 2)reviewing and resolving unmatched financial transactions; 3) knowledge and understanding of financial system data extraction techniques and general ledger account balances ; 4) reviewing and updating financial management policies and procedures; 5) Utilize Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or other automated financial systems to extract, interpret, and analyze financial reports and statistical data; and 6)interpreting, documenting and implementing financial policies , regulations and internal control by using knowledge of budgetary principals and standards.
