This position for The Defense Information Systems Agency is at Columbus, Ohio and Fort Meade, Maryland .
Duties
Incumbent is responsible for the project planning, organization, coordination, analysis, and completion, as well as the development of final reports and recommendations.
Coordinates the efforts of the office’s administrative staff, which includes military, civilian, and contracted personnel.
Ensures that administrative staff has the necessary training, equipment, and support to meet daily requirements.
Conducts management studies and surveys of mission, function, organization, work processes, methods, procedures, and other related areas.
Researches regulations, policies, and standards to develop appropriate information for the Chief Financial Officer/Comptroller.
Maintains automated calendar for the Chief Financial Officer/Comptroller and exercises exclusive control with complete authority for commitment of time without prior approval.
Function as the manager for the internal agency tasking system, overseeing and managing the J8-level tasking process throughout the full tasking lifecycle, from initiation through closure,
Serve as the J8 Records Management (RM) lead, managing and facilitating the RM process within the J8, including creating and managing file plans and completing RM-related taskers.
Serve as the J8 Govt. Purchase Card (GPC) lead, coordinating payments and maintaining documentation and communicating with internal and external offices and organizations, resolving issues from the use of Commercial Purchase Card transactions.

Qualifications
Time in Grade:
For entry at the GS-09 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-07 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
For entry at the GS-11 level, status applicants must have served 52 weeks as a GS-09 or higher grade in the Federal Service.
Specialized Experience:
For the GS-09, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-07 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience at the GS-09 level is defined as experience providing executive-level administrative support to a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES), General/Flag Officer (GO/FO), or equivalent, through a wide variety of complex administrative, advisory, or analytical projects/assignments.
For the GS-11, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in level of difficulty and responsibility to the GS-09 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable in difficulty and responsibility to GS-09 if outside the Federal service.
Specialized experience at the GS-11 level is defined as experience providing executive-level administrative support to a member of the Senior Executive Service (SES), General/Flag Officer (GO/FO), or equivalent, through a wide variety of complex administrative, advisory, or analytical projects/assignments; and experience coordinating internal and external taskers and requests for information (RFIs) to completion.

Education
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE AT GS-09 LEVEL: Two full years of progressively higher level graduate education, or Master's or equivalent graduate degree such as LL.B. or J.D., may be substituted to meet the experience requirement.
SUBSTITUTION OF EDUCATION FOR EXPERIENCE AT GS-11 LEVEL: Three full years of progressively higher level graduate education or Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree.
