About the Position: Works under the supervision of the Commander, Headquarters and Headquarters Company (HHC), Warrant Officer Career College (WOCC) which has the responsibility for the training and development of all Soldiers in the Warrant Officer Candidate School.
Duties
Develops and implements procedures pertaining to files and other clerical and administrative activities.
Develops internal controls and administrative procedures to meet office needs, including publications, forms administration, procedures and layout.
Reviews and edits correspondence prior to release, submission for signature, or other disposition.
Develops, maintains and manages student log-in accounts and student database.
Incumbent is responsible for the preparation and processing of grade determination packages and graduation packets.
Operate a personal computer using a large variety of standard software systems to develop reports, charts, manipulate data, and prepare forms.
Prepares and completes military and non-military correspondence in draft and final copy.
Requisitions and maintains office supplies, equipment, blank forms, publications, and automation software.

- Must obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for this position.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes: 1) utilizing automated office software to create documents, spreadsheets, and reports; and 2) performing administrative support duties, such as timekeeping and processing pay inquiries. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).
This position requires a typing proficiency of at least 40 words per minute (WPM) based on a 5-minute sample with 3 or fewer errors.

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-05). To be referred, applicants must meet applicable time-in-grade and qualification requirements within 30 days from the date the announcement is issued.
Education
