The primary purpose of this position is To serve as the Force Protection Products logistics focal point under the direction and guidance of the Chief, Force Protection Products Section, Cryptologic and Cyber Systems Division, supporting the Headquarters Air Force Security Forces Center (AFSFC), Lackland AFB Texas.
Duties
1. This position represents, defines, plans, develops, and coordinates the logistics and maintenance concepts for supported Force Protection equipment.
2. Participates in preparing, reviewing, and validating sustainment documentation in satisfaction of life-cycle logistics support to the assigned systems used by Security Forces in protection of personnel and resources.
3. Serves as the advisor for AFMC and other agency Integrated Product Teams (IPT) related to Force Protection systems. Member of Configuration Control Boards (CCB) regarding Force Protection
systems/equipment Provides logistics and maintenance sustainment expertise during the planning, development, programming and systems acquisition logistics cycle.
4. Actively participates and represents CCSD in all logistics and maintenance resource planning forums to ensure Force Protection mission objectives are addressed/resolved.

Position is designated special-sensitive and requires eligibility for access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), other intelligence-related Special Sensitive information, or involvement in Top Secret Special Access Programs (SAP) to fully perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. A non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
Drug Testing: This position has been designated by the Air Force as a Testing Designated Position (TDP) under the Air Force Civilian Drug Demand Reduction Program. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Your resume must reflect the quality level of experience which demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for successful job performance required for this position. Examples of creditable experience include:
experience with the Force Protection community and the Security Forces mission, its functions and requirements; of a wide range of principles and practices used in of logistics and maintenance disciplines. Incumbent must demonstrate skill in the application of this broad Force Protection community and extensive knowledge. Note: Creditable experience may include previous military experience, experience gained in the private sector, or experience gained in another government agency.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSAs): Your qualifications will be evaluated on the basis of your level of knowledge, skills, abilities and/or competencies in the following areas:
1. Broad knowledge of the Force Protection community and the Security Forces mission, its functions and requirements.
2. General knowledge of new and ongoing resource protection techniques to the extent that it impacts upon hardware acquisitions.
3. Extensive knowledge of a wide range of principles and practices used in logistics and maintenance disciplines.
4. Incumbent must demonstrate skill in the application of this broad Force Protection community and extensive sustainment knowledge to perform difficult and frequent complex tasks.
5. In-depth knowledge and experience relating to staff planning and execution of system acquisition logistics matters.
6. Incumbent must be able to clearly express technical and logistical concept verbally and in writing.
7. Must understand CCSD systems for sustainment. Position consists of 50% acquisition logistics duties and responsibilities.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE: Credit will be given for appropriate unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of hours per week.
