You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER (Deputy Product Manager) at MARCORSYSCOM.

Duties

You will provide broad program guidance and delegated project decision-making authority within the limits of project objectives and policies. You will perform all technical and management work for assigned projects. You will ensure all work is reviewed and in conformance with requirements and policies and fulfillment of customer's needs. You will serve as an authoritative adviser to diverse acquisition multi-functional teams that are responsible for highly complex projects. You will review, analyze, and evaluate project development, progress, and performance. You will manage requirements and design trade-offs and overall risk and evaluate acquisition activities associated with the assigned program. You will identify and defend resource requirements for life-cycle management pf the assigned program.

• You must be willing to acceps a Supervisory position.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.
• You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
• Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating project development, progress, AND performance.; providing program guidance and project decision making; developing program objectives es AND policies.
