You will serve as a Program Manager within the Marine Corps Supporting Establishment Systems (MCSES) at MARCORSYSCOM.

Duties

You will serve as a recognized extension of the PM Competency Director's Authority within the PEO/PM or Competency Director Staff. You will assess the quality of the work products of the Program Management Teams, ensuring acquisition documentation meets statutory and regulatory requirements for content, and properly informs the decision authority. You will provide formal input on incentives and on the spot awards, and employee appraisals. You will contribute to the development and improvement of work processes and policies.

• This position is a designated Critical Acquisition Position (CAP). You must sign a three-year tenure agreement prior to assuming the position unless a tenure waiver is approved.
• You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
• This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
• You will be required to complete ethics orientation within three months of appointment and submit a Confidential Financial Disclosure Report, OGE-450, within 30 days of appointment.
• This position is covered under the Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA). Certification in the Acquisition Functional Area and category assigned to the position is required within established category timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or NH-03 pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Providing expert advise on matters related to defense acquisition policies and procedures and accepted program management practices to include issues dealing with workforce recruitment, training, qualifications/certification, and professional development.
