You will serve as a developmental Human Resources Specialist in the Staffing & Classification Branch of Naval Undersea Warfare Center, Division Keyport, Washington (NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV KEYPORT WA).
Duties
You will receive instruction, guidance, training, and supervision designed to provide the knowledge and skills for the position.
You will support hiring, compensation, and classification actions.
You will provide management advisory services and support.
You will conduct research to gather information for personnel actions.
You will interpret and apply pay setting rules and regulations to make basic eligibility and qualification determinations.
You will be required to utilize knowledge of Human Resources staffing, classification, and position management theories, concepts, practices, and procedures.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-01 pay band (GS-1/2/3/4 grade level equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Responding to inquiries from applicants, employees, and managers and applying basic human resources concepts and practices on recruitment and/or classification actions.

Education
