You will serve as the Solutions Architect in the Workplace Collaborations Services Branch.
Duties
Advises Workplace and Collaboration Services (WCS) management on major Information Technology (IT) product and/or services issues and assists in overcoming difficult and complex technical problems using innovative and original approaches.
Assists service restoration teams in assessing technical impacts of system or service failures and participates in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Works with the WCS governance structure and IT support contractors to ensure that adoption of new technologies and/or configurations align with the overall direction of the Agency.
Ensures change structure surrounding new technologies is embraced by OCIO, Missions, Centers and end users.
Advises on Workplace, Mobility, and Print (WMaP) technology roadmaps to assist in improved forward schedule planning for WCS services, to include planning for the introduction of tools and services to support new requirements in the end user space.

Qualifications
Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular ability, skill, and knowledge to successfully perform the duties of this position and is typically in or related to this line of work.
To qualify for GS-14, you must have one year of directly related specialized experience equivalent to the GS-13 level.
Providing management and engineering teams with technical advice regarding business analysis, project management, IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud development, and/or software architecture design;
Coordinating across stakeholders/teams to ensure new technologies meet user needs and align with Agency strategy and;
Developing project plans and applying project management expertise, such as, schedules, analysis, risk management, risk identification, and change management plans for IT projects.
AND
IF you are qualifying based on experience, you MUST also have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the four competencies listed below:
