About the Position: Serves as the Chief, Supply Branch, Supply and Services Division, Logistics Readiness Center (LRC) and the Supply & Services Division alternate Contract Officer Representative (COR) for contracts within the division in an Army Field Support Brigade (AFSB).

Duties

Exercises the full range of supervisory duties over subordinate administrative, clerical, and trades and craft employees. Provides contract oversight through assigned Contracting Officer Representative and Quality Assurance Evaluation staff, including review, monitoring, assessing proposed changes, evaluating and certifying contractor performance. Influences policy development, program oversight, planning, programming, and execution of the ISSA Branch. Plans, establishes, and revises operating procedures and establishes priorities and deadlines to provide for the overall accomplishment of the ISSA and/or other mission. Serves as the division alternate Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). Performs a variety of special logistics projects and assignments. Directs accomplishment of assigned area adjusting, modifying, and revising to meet objectives.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Incumbent may travel up to 10% of the time. Travel may include site visits to stateside and overseas locations.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
