This position is located with Bonneville Power Administration (BPA), in Business Programs, Integrity, & Analytics (TPW) organization in Transmission Planning and Asset Management (TP), Transmission Services (T). A successful candidate in this position will serve as the Technical Lead and Technical Subject Matter Expert responsible for providing program management leadership to the Transmission Planning - Business Management, Analytics, and Implementation (TPW) organization.

Qualifications

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: A qualified candidate's online application and resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level [GS-12] in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as Experience in 1) providing program management leadership to execute, improve, and facilitate program lifecycles and associated changes throughout implementation of programs/projects; 2) facilitating, planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks to meet program goals, timelines, and compliance of assigned projects; and 3) providing recommendations for continuous improvement of business processes and systems to achieve better results for an organization's projects or programs. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. There is no substitution of education for experience at the GS-13 grade level. Physical demand: The work is sedentary, although some slight physical effort may be required in stooping, kneeling, bending, etc. Work Environment: Work is typically performed in an adequately lighted and climate controlled office. May require occasional travel. Time-in-Grade: Current Federal employees must meet time-in-grade requirements by the closing date of this announcement to receive consideration.
