Duties

Serve as a Public Affairs Specialist responsible for developing and implementing the Army Materiel Command (AMC) communications program. Execute communications projects through the production of communications products, including print, visual, web-based, multimedia and video. Develop communications strategies to facilitate support and understanding of AMC through a wide variety of communications platforms. Conduct a community and media relations program for the command at the local, regional, national and international level. Advise Public Affairs professionals throughout the command on development of specialized strategies, communications campaigns, and associated communications products.

Requirements

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance for the duration of the appointment.
• This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up 20% of the time.
