You will serve as an ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the Weapons Systems Division (JXN), Naval Weapons Branch (JXNR) of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.

The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. The salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435).
Duties
You will serve as the Task Manager for Naval Weapons Branch, Code JXNR. Major tasking involves managing work assignments, funding and technical direction of USMC Product Manager Infantry Weapons (PdM IW) program.
You will serve as the primary interface for the Program Management Office, other DoD organizations and industry.
You will direct technical tasking of these programs under the functional leadership of the Naval Weapons Branch Manager.
You will be responsible for the planning, coordination and execution of all budgets, requirements, acquisitions, safety release, testing, fielding, logistics and sustainment support for all weapon, accessories and ammunition programs within PdM IW.
You will be responsible for action involving: contracting or procurement, administering or monitoring grants, subsidies, licenses, or other Federally conferred financial or operational benefits, regulating or auditing any non-federal entity.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
- Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals).
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the next lower pay band,
NT-04 (GS-11/12 equivalent grade level) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating project resource requirements to develop, plan, and execute project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to improve efficiency and execution of program operations.
