This position is being recruited under 10 USC 1599f into the Cyber Excepted Service and does NOT convey eligibility to be converted to the Competitive Service. It has been identified as a position necessary to carry out and support the mission of the US Cyber Command.
It is in the Professional Work Category at the Expert Work Level within the CES Occupational Structure. It is located in the DISA Joint Force Headquarters DODIN.
Duties
Performs analysis of current and emerging policy, guidance, strategy, agreements, and doctrine both national and international to determine consistency with existing U.S. national security, military, and political interests and objectives.
Facilitates the combined efforts of DOD Unified Combatant Command teams, as well as other USG agency and international partner cyberspace teams, in making effective use of TSCPs.
Works to advance cooperation across organizational or national borders between cyber operations partners by aiding the integration of partner cyber teams in providing guidance, resources, and collaboration to develop best practices.
Provides periodic updates of stakeholders’ security risks and needs, and effectively provides stakeholders access to JFHQ-DODIN’s products, services, resources, and information.
Reviews and assists in development of operational level plans.
Performs analysis to determine gaps in existing Theater Security Cooperation Plans and identify the need for new TCSPs and assist leadership in compiling a comprehensive program and schedule of efforts to best meet DOD objectives and priorities.

Qualifying Experience:
To qualify at the GG-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: Developing and maintaining cybersecurity plans to support and align with organizational cybersecurity initiatives and regulatory compliance, AND Experience in Initiating/establishing/fostering unilateral and multilateral information sharing arrangements with foreign and domestic cyber stakeholders.
