You will serve as a IT SPECIALIST (OS) in the NETC N665 of INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY DIVISION N6.
Duties
You will plan, schedule, track, validate, and maintain systems supporting NETC’s TDS environment.
You will achieve needed outcomes of specific programs and related projects by ensuring proper management, performance, and administration.
You will provide policy guidance to senior organization leaders, staff and Learning Centers/Learning Sites (LCs/LSs) executive leadership within the assigned AOR.
You will maintain and ensure the security of information systems in an effective, interoperable, scalable, reliable, integrated, and affordable fashion.
Requirements

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 802 IT PROGRAM/PROJECT MANAGER, proficiency level EXPERT the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and DON policies.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Analyzing and refining Operating Systems requirements; 2) Planning, organizing, and directing needs for IT project management; 3) Analyzing IT system requirements on logistics support, business management, compliance management, and risk management.
Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Monitors performance levels and Service Level Agreements.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Maintains awareness of projects of all other division in the department to be capable of acting as division director.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Informing division director of workload status.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Develops recommendations for projects and studies with impact for consideration at higher levels to improve system efficiency.
