You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT DIVISION of HDQTRS NDW.
Duties
You will analyze financial data using computer systems or applications.
You will conduct interviews with financial and operational personnel to gather information and determine compliance with directives.
You will write financial management systems policies for system implementation, sustainment, and support.
You will be implementing and recommending current, revised or new financial management concepts and/or procedures in support of the organization's programs

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This is a bargaining unit position.
- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:1) Formulating a budget to support an organization;2) Assisting with determining the projected gain and losing manning information to project remaining labor obligations;3) Preparing status reports to support funding for an organization; and4) Assisting with audits to support financial improvement and audit readiness. In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Applicants that do not meet the specialized experience as described above may qualify with the following education:
Successfully completed a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree;
or
Successfully completed three full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to a Ph.D. or equivalent degree;
or
Successfully completed an LL.M. degree that is related to the position being filled;
or
Have a combination of experience and education as described above that equates to one year of experience.
