About the Position: Position is located at Fort Drum, the home of the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), is located in Northern New York.

Duties

Serves as Supervisory Financial Readiness Manager with full authority to plan, organize, direct, staff, carry out, review and evaluate programs to include Army Emergency Relief (AER) Campaign Directs, develops and administers plans and procedures to provide for continuing and aggressive financial planning and emergency assistance programs Allocates and reprograms resources as required to accommodate changing conditions. Reviews activities and programs to ensure that financial programs are operated in the most efficient manner and provide the best possible services.

Resolving complex personal financial readiness problems for single or multi person households, 2.) Developing long range plans to assist clients with the elimination of debt, 3.) Determining if personal financial client problems fall within guidelines for emergency assistance by government or private organizations, 4). Overseeing general personnel management policy matters and other personnel actions. You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Financial ManagementManages Human ResourcesOral CommunicationOrganizational Awareness Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-11).
