About the Position: Fort Drum, the home of the 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), is located in Northern New York.
Duties
Assist management in developing and identifying near and long range plans to meet IMCOM service contract requirements.
Develop a mutually acceptable plan for continuing analysis of contract projects and programs, which typically includes identification of the work to be done, the scope of the project
Gathers, analyzes, and acts on a variety of information pertaining to program operation; specifically cost, schedule and performance data.
Oversee the the execution plans for the agency’s Acquisition Planning and Management Program (APMP).
Monitor contracts performance to assure milestones are met for an agency.
Serves as first-level supervisor; plans work, establishes priorities, directs, reviews and accepts or rejects the work of personnel assigned to the section.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires a Financial Disclosure Statement (OGE-450).
- This position requires the selectee to obtain the Financial Management Certification Level 2 within 2 years of entering the position.
- Up to 5% Travel for Duty is required.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment .
- This position is supervisory as defined by the Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) General Schedule Supervisory Guide (GSSG). A one year probation to assess your ability to perform supervisory duties is required unless previously completed

Specialize Experience: One year of specialize experience which includes: Assisting senior leaders in developing and identifying near and long range plans to meet organizational service contract requirements; participating in providing guidance to staff regarding financial management and obligation and expenditures of funds; reviewing execution plans for the agency's Acquisition Planning and Management Program and coordinating resources to identify and extract data necessary to support a performance metrics for contracting progress. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-012).
