You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the INFORMATION WARFARE DIRECTORATE of TACTICAL TRAINING GROUP PACIFIC.
Duties
You will serve as a civilian intelligence subject matter expert (SME) providing simulated intelligence products and mentorship in support of the command's training mission.
You will serve as the source of knowledge for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security matters and related policy and procedural management, providing oversight for personnel, physical, information, and industrial security for SCI programs.
You will provide relevant, realistic, and challenging training to deploying Strike Group Staffs, working closely with military staff and contractors during training and scenario development.
You will be responsible for data gathering and collection of numerous classified intelligence products and information.
You will assist Intelligence Military Staff with maintaining accuracy and currency of all classroom lectures and in-house and distributed simulations.
You will serve as Battlespace Awareness Department Liaison officer, designing and delivering synthetic training.
You will serve as the SME for Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) security matters and related policy/procedural management, providing oversight for personnel, physical, information, and industrial security.
You will function as the Special Security Assistant (SSA), providing oversight of operations within Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs) and Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs), and implementation of the SAP and SCI program.
You will provide and/or oversee monthly and annual SAP-level, SCI-level and OPSEC awareness refresher training and education for applicable command personnel.
Requirements

- Generally, current federal employees applying for GS jobs must serve at least one year at the next lower grade level. This requirement is called time-in-grade. Time-in-grade requirements must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- MSP/PPP applicants must currently hold the required security clearance.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug test (including marijuana) is required. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if you fail to report to the drug test appointment or fail the test. You will be subject to random testing.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
- You will be subject to random counter-intelligence (CI) polygraphs.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: utilizing knowledge of intelligence support and security concepts, methods, and procedures to develop realistic training scenarios in support of war-fighting readiness.
