You will serve as a Management Analyst supporting the Director/Deputy Director for Aviation Operation, Code N98 within NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support.

Duties

You will coordinate conferences and meetings with staff representatives of other agencies and serves as a liaison with such officials during their visits. You will schedule pre-briefs, and answers specific questions pertaining to events and activities involving the Aviation Operations leadership staff. You will provide guidance to department personnel and international customers on NMCI and IT systems You will have knowledge of analytical and evaluative methods and techniques, to conduct all administrative requirements that include a detailed analysis of complex functions. You will have knowledge of and skill in writing factual reports and memorandums, preparing spreadsheets and briefing charts to deliver effective briefings to supervisors and managers on study findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year Management Analyst experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector demonstrating knowledge of Aviation Operations Departments administrative programs to implement and administer program objectives and develop standards to evaluate the effectiveness of the program. Specialized experience must demonstrate performing duties such as the following: 1) Applying analytical and evaluative methods to administrative programs and projects to ensure goals are being accomplished; 2) Researching data, developing briefings and preparing fact sheets on Aviation Operations administrative policies and procedures; 3) Coordinating inter-organizational conferences and visits for senior leadership; 4) Utilizing Defense Travel System ( DTS) to assist all departmental travels with travel orders; and 5) Providing management with solutions/recommendations to the Integrated Weapon systems Teams (IWST) on all administrative programs/projects assigned.
