You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM ANALYST in the Policy and Systems Section (N52311) of the Strategy, Plans and Partners Division (N523) at NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.

Duties

You will oversee and monitor the execution of the full range of branch functions. You will determine and allocate branch resources. You will direct and monitor execution of programs and attainment of goals and objectives. You will oversee and monitor the analysis, impact assessment, coordination, and approval of policy and system change requests both internally and externally. You will be directly responsible for two branches executing the Security Cooperation and Security Assistance mission, in the areas of business process expertise and software application development.

Requirements

  • This is a Mission Essential position. You will be required to ensure organization or facility continuity of operations and/or completion of tasks that are considered essential to the mission designated by a local or command decision.
  • This is a Key Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of SPECIALIZED experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Developing project and program management techniques and methods to establish short and long-term goals, objectives, and operational plans, to manage resources, to monitor and control execution, and to measure performance; 2) Applying analytical, evaluative, and process improvement methods, techniques, and applications to plan, develop schedules, manage risk, conduct analyses, and develop budgets; 3) Applying a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods for the assessment and improvement of program effectiveness or the improvement of complex management processes and systems in order to oversee and monitor the analysis, impact assessment, coordination, and approval of policy and system change requests both internally and externally.
