Duties
You will serve as an Identification Support Assistant administering the DEERS and RAPIDS computer system.
You will act as an Alternate Verifying Official (VO) and Secondary Site Security Manager (SSM).
You will review documents to verify eligibility for medical as well as other privileges for active duty, retired, non-remarried former spouses, and family members of all ranks and branches of the service.
You will be responsible for assisting with control over the receipt and accountability of a variety of ID cards for eligible military, civilian, retired civilians, contractors, and foreign military personnel.
You will advise the Operations Officer and Administrative Assistant on the system issues and troubleshoot related problems.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- You will be required to obtain an Information Assurance (IA) Level I, Technical certificate.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support (e.g., typing, filing, scanning, receiving phone calls), arranging meetings, maintaining databases, drafting correspondence, and performing customer service.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.

- 4 years above high school
