You will serve as an Office Automation Assistant in the Installation Personnel Adminstration Center (IPAC) of MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII.
Duties
You will answer routine requests, prioritize documents, check for items that can be addressed personally or distribute them to the appropriate personnel for review or signature.
You will operate an office automated data processing system and type official correspondence (e.g., business letters, memorandums, standard letters).
You will assist in the administration on all matters pertaining to Civilian Marines as liaison to the Human Resource Office (administrative assistance, payroll matters, creating and maintaining databases of information tracking of Civilian Marines).
You will independently provide various automated reports such as social and recall rosters.
You will receive and route routine visitors of the IPAC to the appropriate Branch/Section.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-04 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: providing administrative support (e.g., typing, filing, scanning, receiving phone calls), arranging meetings, maintaining databases, drafting correspondence, and performing customer service.
This position requires the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. Your response to the typing skill question on the Occupational Questionnaire will be used in your qualification determination.
