You will serve as a TRAINING SPECIALIST in the SURFCOMSYSTRNCMD SAN DIEGO.
Duties
You will advise on all matters pertaining to training to include training functions, curriculum development, and testing programs.
You will maintain master files for all the training materials for which they have cognizance.
You will review and evaluate curriculum materials for technical accuracy and accomplishment of objectives.
You will monitor and/or update appropriate instructions and databases with regard to training requirements, testing programs, and quality of training.
You will provide guidance and support for planning, resources and administrative efforts needed.
Requirements

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-07 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Displaying a keen understanding of conventional and established training methods, techniques, and tools to design and develop training courses and materials; 2) Evaluating the effectiveness of existing programs, revising ongoing programs, and developing and implementing new training; 3) Utilizing electronic instructional systems and programs to analyze data and produce reports; and 4) Performing instructor evaluations, conducting trend analysis of instructor evaluations, and preparing evaluation reports and recommendation.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
