You will serve as an Administrative/Technical Specialist in the Project Management Branch of the Radar Technologies Division of the Spectrum Warfare Systems Dept. of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.
The NT-05 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to the GS-13 and GS-14.
The salary range shown above represents all of the positions within the band, including high grade positions. The salary may be limited to a GS-13 Step 10 (currently $134,435).
Duties
You will serve as the Task Manager in the Project Management Branch (WXPM) of the Radar Technologies Division.
You will be responsible for reviewing detailed project plans, cost estimates, and resource requests.
You will perform all responsibilities required as detailed within the Radar Technologies Division Project Management Handbook, to include Ops Center requirements, such as a MS Project resource loaded schedule, financial planning and risk management.
You will prepare and deliver presentations to internal and external stakeholders that detail all aspects of project execution.
You will be responsible for identifying project risks and developing appropriate strategies to mitigate these risks.
You will develop and review Statements of Work (SOWs), Task Planning Sheets (TPSs), and Cost Estimates, that clearly define tasking, a basis of estimate, and the amount of funds required to perform tasks.
You will monitor and control the project by oversight of cost, schedule and risks.

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 (GS-11/12 equivalent) grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: analyzing and evaluating program requirements to develop, plan and execute project schedule, budget and deliverables to improve organizational effectiveness and efficiency.
