You will serve as a Human Resources Specialist (Classification/Recruitment) in the Human Resources Office of CNSSC FLD DET MECH PA.

Duties

You will serve as a Command Advisor to recruit, hire and assist in shaping NAVSUP workforce. You will advise management on the position classification process and the use of various classification standards, appeals, and other references. You will advise management on HR services, merit system principals, pay and compensation. You will analyze, develop, and administer organizational design and position management to enhance the efficiency and performance of organizations. You will develop, modify, conduct, and oversee presentation of personnel staffing policies and procedures.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of Human Resource Specialist (Recruitment and Classification) specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing work that involves recruiting, examining, and placing employees; workforce planning and analysis; and advising management in identifying, attracting, and retaining a high-quality and diverse workforce; and work that involves position compensation and classification to determine appropriate pay system and pay setting, occupational grouping, title and grade of positions, and advising on position and organizational design. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Provides advice and guidance and assists in executing the Command's Strategic Human Capital Plan. Advises senior management on the design, development, and implementation of HR strategic/business plans to recruit, develop, and retain the talent needed to accomplish the assigned mission. Provides guidance on developing and aligning internal strategic HR plans and HR business plans, assesses organizational skills/critical competency gaps and staffing requirements. Education

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:

Ph.D or equivalent doctoral degree
OR
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
OR
LL.M. if related

One year of full-time graduate education is considered to be the number of credit hours that the school attended has determined to represent 1 year of full-time study. If that information cannot be obtained from the school, 18 semester hours should be considered as satisfying the 1 year of full-time study requirement.
