About the Position: This position serves as the Installation Management Command (IMCOM) Garrison Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Transition Services Manager (TSM) at Fort Huachuca.

Duties

Provide professional feedback and advice for the quality and quantity of transition services provided by installation service providers. Coordinate, initiate, and direct the establishment of agreements between service providers and various regional offices and the installation. Serve as a liaison with installation transition service providers. Responsible for managing resources, advising installation tenant units and marketing the program. Author Soldier for Life-Transition Assistance Program installation policy guidance that implements Army SFL-TAP policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Temporary Duty Travel (TDY) may be required up to 10%.
  • Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.
