DCSA's Counterintelligence and Insider Threat Directorate Cyber Mission Center (CMC) is seeking an experienced Cyber Counterintelligence Analyst to conduct research and analysis to identify, assess, and deter threats to cleared industry and academia, cleared personnel, DOD, and DCSA. This is an excellent opportunity for those with expertise in finished intelligence production in accordance with Intelligence Community standards and directives.
Duties
As a INTELLIGENCE OPERATIONS SPECIALIST you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Monitors, researches, reports, and initiates products and briefings on multiple, varying, complex, specialized assignments related to cyberspace threats and/or risks to DCSA operational components, DoD stakeholders, and cleared industry.
- Conducts in-depth research and analysis for the development of timely and accurate responses to cyberspace priority intelligence requirements, the Program of Analysis, and emerging customer requirements.
- Identifies trends, patterns, and linkages, draws conclusions, and estimates probabilities based on current and past cyber intelligence/information, and applies experience and knowledge to complete cyber analytic products.
- Researches and drafts cyber intelligence assessments, and briefings on cyber adversary tactics, threats and/or risks to the cleared industry. Performs peer-and-first-level review of reports/products to ensure quality, clarity, and accuracy.
- Reviews cyber intelligence, open source, and operational reports and information regarding significant cyber network events, attacks, intrusions, and activities that may impact DCSA and its customers, objectives, resources and/or capabilities.
- Enhance counterintelligence-related cyber threat and vulnerability awareness among internal and external consumers.

Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of the knowledge, skills, abilities and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies/knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position.
You must have specialized experience sufficient to demonstrate that you have acquired all the competencies necessary to perform at a level equivalent in difficulty, responsibility, and complexity to the next lower grade GS/GG-12 in the Federal service and are prepared to take on greater responsibility.
Generally, this would include one year or more of such specialized experience.
Specialized experience for this position includes: Expert knowledge and experience in the field of cyberspace counterintelligence (CI) threat analysis, and in-depth research, compilation, and analysis of a wide range of complex and sensitive information to determine cyberspace and Foreign Intelligence Entity threats to US interests. Expert experience in cyberspace and counterintelligence-focused intelligence analysis, reporting, and finished intelligence production is essential for this position.
