You will serve as a INFORMATION MANAGER in the G9 Capabilities and Development Section of U S MARINE FORCES CYBERSPACE COMMAND.
This is a Temporary NTE 1 year position.
Duties
You will participate and provide significant input to the planning of administrative studies necessitated by program and organizational changes.
You will provide recommendations on the most economical methods of achieving administrative goals and objectives.
You will make recommendations for courses of action, implementation, or revisions required. Recommendations made by the incumbent often result in significant changes in administrative work.
You will explain necessity for changes to administrative personnel, clarifies new procedures, and provides guidance in the application of new administrative guidelines.
You will determine actions needed by other staff elements and follows-up to ensure that responses are complete and timely, resolves conflicts, and refers only the most significant problems for resolution.
You will assist leadership in assuring that essential work continues during their absences by taking appropriate administrative action.
You will assist supervisor in identifying personnel requirements, resources, and services needed to ensure the effective use of manpower, money and materials to support the mission.
You will actively participate in staff and/or management level meetings/discussions pertaining to the activities encompassed in the administrative and management functions of the section.

- A Counterintelligence Polygraph is required and a non-disclosure agreement must be signed.
- This is a Drug Testing Designated Position (TDP). A pre-employment drug test is required, and the position is subject to random drug testing.
- The incumbent may be required to perform minimal travel (10% or less) which may involve the use of commercial and/or government aircraft.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This position is not telework eligible.
- This position has been designated as a Cyber Workforce position in the DOD Cyber Workforce Framework role of 431 - KNOWLEDGE MANAGER proficiency level INTERMEDIATE.
Qualifications
Applicants must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly relates to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: Planning, coordinating, analyzing, directing and evaluating administrative missions and operations including procurement actions; administering and evaluating internal management plans, directions and practices.
This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level FULL PERFORMANCE, Series and Grade GG-0301-11.

Education
At a minimum, all CES employees in the Professional Work Category require a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
