About the Position: Fort Gregg-Adams, Home of Logistic Warriors, is a US Army installation located near the Tri-Cities of Petersburg, Colonial Heights, and Hopewell, VA. Fort Gregg-Adams is south of Richmond, the Capital of Virginia. There are a number of important missions accomplished by the activities located here. The missions accomplished at Fort Gregg-Adams include combat and training development and the professional development of military personnel through various training programs.
Duties
Provides consultation, coaching and collaborative opportunities to implement research-based, student-centered instructional practices to foster professionalism, improve learning outcomes, support transfer of learning into practice.
Performs and manages all Army Transportation Management Coordinator Operations (88N MOS) Needs, Job (Individual MOS Tasks) Analysis, and Critical Tasks Site Selection Boards for the 88N MOS and establishes valid training requirements.
Organizes, plan, and coordinate the functions, provisions, schedules, and administrative activities, which are required to conduct education and training programs.
Manages the organization, operation, and resources to facilitate instruction and future planning.
Designs and select training and educational methods and strategies for targeted skills, knowledge, and abilities.
Develops adult educational program using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation process.
Analyzes processes and interpret results in assessing training and education requirements. Identify individual and collective training and education capabilities and resourcing gaps and develop mitigation strategies.
Understands and appropriately applies principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies related to specialized expertise.
Remains current with technology, tools, trends, and evolving practices in area of expertise.

- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of up to 25% of the time.

In-Transient Visibility (MC & ITV) Operations and/or Transportation Management Coordinator training and procedures; performing evaluations and assessments as it relates to training products; and reviewing course materials for currency and relevancy of educational requirements. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-11).
