About the Position: This position is within Letterkenny Army Depot in Chambersburg, PA. This position may be filled at the GS-09 or GS-11 grade level.

Duties

Serves as an analyst ensuring that the logistical staff complies with legal and regulatory requirements to meet internal and external customer needs. Responsible for pulling, compiling and updating briefing charts for Sales and Operations Planning (SOP) from MRP/ERP system (i.e. LMP) and other reports. Provides a full range of advisory/analytical services at all levels of the depot programs and administrative management involving various initiatives. Responsible for identifying, distributing and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.

  • This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment
  • This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 25% of the time.

OR Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages. GS-11: Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1)) knowledge of management and organizational techniques, systems, and procedures. 2) Experience in preparing and delivering briefings; 3) Knowledge and skill in applying investigative, analytical and evaluative methods. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-09). OR Education: Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree or 3 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%.
