About the Position: This position is located with the HDQA Chief of Staff Army, Executive Business Operations Division (EBOD) Services Branch located in PENTAGON / ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA.
Duties
Identify and define new requirements and projects, accomplish and coordinate long range planning
high degree of individual judgment and expertise to insure implementation of guidelines.
Develop and coordinate comprehensive strategies and objectives for OCSA automation and software management.
Support organization-wide project management responsibilities studies and recommends technical design and structure of Internet services
Provides training to system users on new or changed operating systems, hardware and software.
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Position designated as TOP SECRET – Sensitive Compartmental Information. Intelligence Community Directive 704.
- Must successfully pass urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter according to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program.
- Ability to meet position requirements for certification in Information Assurance Technical (IAT-III) within six months or less of entrance of duty. (Certification requirements maybe found in DoD 8571.01-M.
- This position may require 24x7 duty as mission requires and is subject to rotating shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Temporary Duty (TDY) Travel will be required approximately 5-10% of the time and may require worldwide travel.

In order to qualify, you must meet the specialized experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience.
Specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service which includes addressing customer inquiries, incidents and/or problems related to IT, and providing corrective actions; diagnosing a variety of systems issues; establishing local policies/procedures and training plans for agency automation users; providing technical support in areas such as, Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) Services. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).

Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-12).
