You will serve as a Program Analyst in the Planning and Operations Division of the Centralized Coordinator Department of FLTREADCEN SOUTHEAST.
This announcement uses the Certain Personnel of the DoD direct hire authority to recruit and appoint qualified candidates to positions in the competitive service.
Duties
You will extract and compile data and provide expert technical advice to Program Managers, Leaders and Department Heads.
You will perform detailed analysis of major program budget expenditures and provide solutions to insure program conformity.
You will develop, maintain and monitor integrated reporting systems such as personnel budget models, and funding budgets.
You will conduct studies, analyze findings and make recommendations on substantive workload manpower issues and workload processes.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Evaluating projected business, future staffing requirements, or budget realities against trends for impact on organizational goals; 2) Developing and presenting findings, reports or recommendations to analysts, employees, managers inside or other high-ranking officials; 3) Applying mathematical or statistical theory and methods to collect, organize, interpret, and summarize numerical data to provide usable information; and 4) Applying law, policies, regulations, principles, standards and procedures to management and program analysis activities (e.g., developing studies, metrics, methods, advising others).
