About the Position: This position is in the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). Employees occupying DCIPS positions are in the Excepted Service and must adhere to U.S. Code, Title 10, as well as Department of Defense Instruction 1400.25. This position is located at the ST-IC-W6EC01 US ARMY ACQUISITION SUPPORT CENTER.
Duties
Serve as the Senior Budget Analyst in the Business Operations Division, Threat Systems Management Office (TSMO), Program Manager for Instrumentation, Targets, and Threat Systems (PM ITTS).
Provide expert advice and guidance within multiple budgetary areas including planning, execution, review and analysis, and financial reconciliation.
Perform budgetary and administrative functions in implementing TSMO budgetary program, policies, and procedures.
Responsible for the budget and accounting functions entailing the planning, formulation, analysis, monitoring, execution, and coordination of Army Threat Simulator (ATS) appropriated and reimbursable budget.
Compile budget execution, performance data, trend analysis and perform statistical analysis to determine accuracy of budget estimates.
Manage commitments and obligations utilizing appropriate automated financial management systems.
Monitor General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS), Accounting System by element of resource (EOR) and by Budget Activity (BA).
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance based on a single-scope background investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
- In accordance with Change 3 to AR 600-85, Alcohol and Drug Abuse Prevention and Control Program, individual must successfully pass a urinalysis screening for illegal drug use prior to appointment and periodically thereafter.
- Temporary duty (TDY) travel will be required up 25% or less of the time.
