You will serve as a SUPERVISORY IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC/DATAMGT) of HELICOPTER MARITIME STRIKE WING PAC.
Duties
You will manage and implement data mining and warehousing programs by organizing and maintaining system storage.
You will administer Information Security/Information Assurance policies, principles and practices in the delivery of data management services.
You will develop and maintain systems administration standard operating procedures for the virtual environment.
You will plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware with operating systems and applications software.
You will coordinate with commands in the scheduling and installing of updates to servers.
You will plan work to be accomplished by subordinates, set and adjust short-term priorities and prepare schedules for completion of work.
You will review work products of subordinates and make decisions on work problems presented.
You will give advice, counsel and instruction to individual employees on both technical and administrative matters.
You will develop performance standards and evaluate performance of employees.

Requirements

- This is a Cyberspace Workforce position, work role code 451/421 proficiency level (Advanced) the incumbent is required to obtain and maintain qualifications in DoDM 8140.03 Cyber Workforce Qualification and Department of Navy policies.
- You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.

Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate one year of information technology related experience in the federal service or private or public sector demonstrating the following four competencies, as defined:
1. Attention to Detail - Is thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Plan and schedule the installation of new or modified hardware with operating systems and applications software.
2. Customer Service - Works with clients and customers (that is, any individuals who use or receive the services or products that your work unit produces, including the general public, individuals who work in the agency, other agencies, or organizations outside the Government) to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve their problems, or satisfy their expectations; knows about available products and services; is committed to providing quality products and services. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Provide close communication and partnership with end users on system availability upon upgrade deployment.
3. Oral Communication - Expresses information (for example, ideas or facts) to individuals or groups effectively, taking into account the audience and nature of the information (for example, technical, sensitive, controversial); makes clear and convincing oral presentations; listens to others, attends to nonverbal cues, and responds appropriately. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: Provide formal and informal training on user instructions and system operations; Gives advice, counsel, or instruction to employees on both technical and administrative matters.
4. Problem Solving - Identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations. IT-related experience demonstrating this competency include: solving problems, considering different approaches while dealing with incomplete or conflicting data, and resolve highly complex technical issues; coordinating the efforts of project teams.
In addition to my experience demonstrating the four competencies above, I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-11) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector: managing data storage and backup processes by planning and scheduling the installation of hardware and software to maintain data accessibility and ensure the secure storage or transfer of critical information.
