About the Position: This position is with the DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY OFFICE OF THE DEPUTY CHIEF OF STAFF, G-6 BUDGET & EXECUTION DIVISION, located in Fort Belvoir, VA.

Duties

Serve as a senior program analyst and consultant for the Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) and the Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-6 (G6) on budget executions and resource planning matters for one or more programs. Plan, coordinate, integrate, manage, defend and justify resource related actions for the Army's command, control, communications, and computers (C4) mission. Perform a wide variety of administrative and analytical duties connected with the review, justification and presentation of the budgets for the OCIO and ODCS, G-6. Perform fund control functions to coordinate, plan and manage General Fund Enterprise Business System (GFEBS) transactions administered through the execution of approved budgets and programs. Serve as team leader coaching, facilitating, and mentoring the team ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic plan, mission, vision, and values. Serve as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsible for supporting and meeting OCIO and ODCS, G-6 organizational line of efforts.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience that includesutilizing providing advice and assistance to management on current and multi-year budgetary matters; recommend solutions to budgetary problems within all phases of budget administration; formulating and/or monitoring the execution of long-range detailed budget forecasts and plans to fund substantive programs and projects; analyzing organizational and program requirements to identify potential resource constraints and develop recommended courses of action. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-13). You will be evaluated on the basis of your level of competency in the following areas: Budget AdministrationLeadershipOral CommunicationOrganizational Awareness Time in Grade Requirement: Applicants who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-13).
