You will serve as a Supply Systems Analyst in the Plans and Systems Division, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Case Execution & Closure Section (N523112), International Programs Directorate, of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT. #LI-NAVSUPWSS

Duties

You will analyze complex programs and major problems associated with supply, logistics, and financial systems. You will research outputs from IT systems and systems operating data to identify problem areas, determine systemic causes, and initiate timely corrective action to eliminate deficiencies. You will develop and brief training materials, provide training on Management Information System International Logistics (MISIL) processes, and provide technical support for all users. You will perform program planning and budgeting and determine funding priorities for supply and financial program operations. You will compose official correspondence and prepare study reports on a variety of policy issues. You will brief managers and officials on issues, problems, and program accomplishments. You will coordinate with representatives of other organizations concerning sensitive and/or complex issues and their relationships to other supply and financial management functions, processes, and organizations.

  • You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
  • This is a Security Cooperation Workforce (SCW) position and requires a DoD SCW Certification. Selectee must obtain and maintain certification within prescribed timeframes. SCW level required: SC441

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Applying knowledge of the concepts, principles, practices, and regulations of the broad fields of supply, logistics, and finance to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of programs and operations; 2) Reviewing and interpreting policies and business procedures; 3) Assessing alternatives to supply program issues and recommending solutions for complex issues; and 4) Utilizing information systems to extract data and perform analysis.
