Duties
Determines requirements, establishes priorities, and certifies task completion work with the GFEBS systems integrator during the implementation, sustainment, and post deployment of the GFEBS solution.
Assists in defining actual process operations and operational steps to be executed by users of the solutions.
Obtain data and evaluate the impact of new or proposed policies on financial business processes.
Reviews functional specifications for Reports, Interfaces, and Conversions requirements in support of the Single Army Financial Enterprise.
Coordinates with senior leaders and support activities to provide expert advice and guidance to decision makers on business process reengineering initiatives.
Represents the command at management meetings and conferences and in the development of policies, standards, and procedures for financial management business processes related to GFEBS.

- Department of the Army DA Civilians must successfully complete all mandatory Civilian Education System CES courses which may require travel.
- Obtain and maintain FM Certification.
Qualifications
To qualify at the GS-13, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level in the federal service.
Specialized experience is defined as: Experience using a financial management system, preferably the General Fund Enterprise Business System - GFEBS or other Enterprise Resource Planning-ERP system and evaluating the impact of new or proposed policies to financial business processes. Experience with other ERP systems will be considered as relevant experience. Additionally, experience researching/resolving errors, analyzing various ERP reports to identify and unravel data or system anomalies. Experience processing some or all the following in a financial system: Project Systems, Workorder Breakdown Structure (WBS elements), Plant Maintenance, Asset accounting, Asset Master data creation and maintenance, Real Property management and inventory, and PPE reporting. Experience following the SAFe Agile methodology is desired. Project management experience should include project planning, task scheduling, risk/issue management, and conflict resolution. Experience as a liaison between a customer/stakeholder and the development team is preferred.

Education
Education may not be substituted for specialized experience at this grade level.
To be creditable, education must have been obtained in an accredited college or university. You must report only attendance and/or degrees from schools accredited by accrediting institutions that are recognized by the
U.S. Department of Education .
