You will serve as a PROGRAM ANALYST in the Office of the Judge Advocate General within NLSC.
Duties
You will serve as the travel program compliance support and data analytics specialist for OJAG/NLSC.
You will provide accurate and timely advice as the subject matter expert in the process and policies of the Defense Travel System .
You will issue travel cards, authorize increases to cards, and activate/deactivate cards.
You will serve as the point of contact for all conferences, training events, and NJS courses.
You will be responsible for providing guidance on Navy travel policy and allowances, maintaining the travel database and reporting problems to the OJAG/NLSC Lead Defense Travel Administrator.

- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Qualifications
Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate:
1) Providing guidance on Navy travel policy and allowances, maintaining the travel database (i.e. traveler profile information addresses, phone numbers, government credit card numbers, bank account information, etc., receiving and detaching traveler/user profiles), and reporting systematic DTS travel problems to the OJAG/NLSC Lead Defense Travel Administrator (LDTA).
2) Performing duties as the Centrally Billed Account Specialist (CBAS), Debt Management Monitor (DMM). Responsible for the monitoring/management of the DTS queue, running required travel program reports based on their periodicity and responding to customer service issues.
3) Serving as Agency Program Coordinator (APC) worldwide for the Government Travel Credit Card (GTCC) program. As the GTCC APC, analyzes and reviews individual charge card activity to identify potential abuse and/or non-official use.
4) Providing technical and authoritative guidance regarding the interpretation and application of DoDI, and any applicable portions of the Joint Travel Regulation (JTR). 5) Issues travel cards, authorizes increases to cards, and activates/deactivates cards, as appropriate, in accordance to applicable guidelines.

Education
In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree
or
2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
or
LL.B. or J.D., if related
