About the Position: Position manages the DPW Business Operations and Integration Division using guidelines such as local and higher command level policies and regulations, technical and operational guidance from the Director Public Works, and a variety of technical and engineering regulations, standards, and policies.
Duties
Serves as Chief, Business Operations and Integration Division at installation level.
Provide the full range of real property and facilities maintenance and related support services for the directorate.
Prepares the Director's Annual Work Plans to include the financed and unconstrained programs for Real Property Maintenance Activity projects and Base Operations Support large maintenance requirements.
Evaluate effectiveness of internal and external engineering operations through review and analysis of production reports and inspections.
Manage the Work Reception-, Estimating- and Scheduling- functions for the directorate.
Supervise the activities of supervisory, administrative, specialist, program and management analysts, and other technical support personnel engaged in the division operations.
Requirements
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of employment.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- This position has a Temporary Duty (TDY) or business travel requirement of 10% of the time.
- Appointment to this position is subject to a one year probationary period unless the appointee has previously met the requirements as described in 5 CFR Part 315.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes Expertise in business operations management, including planning and directing projects.; Managing analytical studies and projects, with-in depth knowledge of organizational management techniques and systems.; Adept at delivering briefs, resolving business issues, negotiating activities, and providing technical assistance to improve program operations. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the second lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-12).
