About the Position: This position is located in the Directorate for Resource Management, Fiscal Department, Naval Hospital, Pensacola, Florida.

Duties
Incumbent develops and maintains effective and accurate programs of collecting, analyzing, and evaluating statistical data.
Evaluates collected data and data collection systems to ensure that information is accurate and that new requirements are incorporated into the existing system.
Prepares clinical workload and expense reports for submission to local management and higher authority, monitors workload to note trends and prepares advisories/recommendations for command management when significant increases/decreases are noted.
Analyzes and reviews procedures and controls, files, directives, and office automation procedures and performs equivalent management information studies.
Plans, develops, and conducts internal review studies on data collection systems of limited capacity.
Reviews directives from higher authority to determine potential impact on the command.
Prepares workload and expense reporting data in textual and graphical information for presentation to top and middle management at appropriate intervals as a result of analysis and/or special studies
Requirements
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- This position requires the incumbent be able to obtain and maintain a determination of eligibility for a Secret security clearance or access for the duration of
employment. A background investigation and credit check are required.
- Immunization screening is required. Hepatitis B immunization is required for all positions with direct patient contact. Applicants may be required to show proof of other immunizations depending on the type of position.
- Selectees will be required to sign a statement (Condition of Employment) consenting to seasonal influenza vaccinations or must provide a recognized exemption.
- A Personnel Security Investigation is required.
Qualifications

In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience which includes 1) utilizing automated systems to enter and maintain data and/or reports; 2) collecting and analyzing data to determine trends regarding cost and workload within the organization; 3) making recommendation and/or resolving problems based on data received from analysis.
OR
Education: Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D. in a field which demonstrates the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to do the work of the position, such as: Business Administration, Management, Statistics, Accounting.
OR
Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 12. Then divide the total number of completed graduate semester hours (or equivalent) beyond the first year (total graduate semester hours minus 18) by 18. Add the two percentages.
