Duties
You will serve as the Resource Evaluation and Analysis Officer.
You will analyze, advice, coordinate, and assist with the implementation and execution of financial management policies, procedures, and operations.
You will develop, maintain, and implement principles, policies, procedures and systems to enable the Comptroller/G-8 to exercise effective control over all aspects of financial management.
You will execute financial management policies, procedures, and operations.
You will conduct liaison and assistance in the planning, coordination and initiation of implemented financial management policies and procedures.
Requirements

- You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or Secret security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
- This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
- You will be required to complete training, obtain, and maintain a government credit card for travel and travel-related purchases.
- This is a Financial Management Level I certified position per the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Section 1599d. You must achieve this level within prescribed timelines. Certification requirements are in DoD Instruction 1300.26.
Qualifications
Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Performing a variety of analytical, technical, and administrative work; applying standard practices and procedures to phases of an annual budget and/or financial administrative process; AND executing financial management policies, procedures, and operations.

Education
The following education may be substituted for experience:
Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree
or
3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree
