About the Position: The primary purpose of this position is to provide assistance on all administrative matters for the Director of the Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center (DDEAMC) Operations, Readiness,Security, and Training (ORS&T) Division and its Branch Chiefs, ensuring efficient operations andcompliance with applicable procedures and regulations. This position is located at Fort. Eisenhower, Georgia.
Duties
Perform clerical and administrative functions for the organization.
Receive visitors and telephone calls to determine nature of business and take appropriate action.
Provide guidance regarding personnel matters, such as time and attendance, leave procedures, and travel vouchers to ensure regulatory compliance.
Utilize office automation systems and software packages to accomplish work with Travel Reservation and Voucher Expense Database System such as DTS, MS Office, etc.
Monitor control of records of incoming correspondence and action documents in order to ensure timely reply or action.
Prepare travel orders, travel arrangements and travel vouchers for all supported employees.
Prepare in final form all types of documentation and forms related to personnel administration and office management.
Serves as the Foreign Travel Clearance Manager.
Provide guidance regarding personnel matters, such as time and attendance, leave procedures, and travel vouchers to ensure regulatory compliance.
Utilize various automated personnel systems to initiate various personnel actions.

Specialized Experience: One year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 grade level in the Federal service which includes 1) Experience in utilizing office automation software to prepare documents such as forms, correspondences and reports; 2) Experience with coordinating travel arrangements; and 3) Providing administrative support duties such as entering time and attendance and file management. This definition of specialized experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (GS-05).Some federal jobs allow you to substitute your education for the required experience in order to qualify.
